    Industry, Infrastructure and E-Government: Abu Dhabi, a global leader in E-enabled government services.

    The UAE eGovernment programme is an important element of the UAE Government Strategy that paves the way to achieving UAE Vision 2021.
    In May 2013 His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktoum, Vice-President & Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced the ‘Mobile Government’ initiative to further realize his vision of providing services to people wherever they are and at any time.
    Sheikh Mohammed stressed that the initiative was another step towards better public services highlighting that the UAE was ranked 7th on the ‘online service index’ in the UN’s E-Government Survey 2012.
